Support and wellbeing

Study can sometimes be stressful, but we’re here to help. Our support services include health and wellbeing, study skills development, career guidance, and more.

Student Portal

When you become a student with us, you'll gain automatic access to our dedicated Student Portal upon accepting your offer. It makes it easy to get the information you need. Access all university systems, study support, career guidance and personal counselling, read about student news and events, get personalised notifications, book appointments, and much more.

Counselling and wellbeing

When you become a student with us, you get access to confidential and professional counselling, both in person and online. These services are available for those experiencing academic, mental health and personal concerns. Counsellors can also help to connect the wider community with specialist services.

Speerment Program

The Specialist Peer Mentor Program (Speerment) provides mentoring to Autistic students to support and provide assistance with managing their studies. If you participate in this program, you are matched with a mentor who meets with you once a week to help you settle into your course and navigate the university environment. As students themselves, mentors can help you identify what you need to do to be successful at university and help you achieve your goals.

We are working towards creating an inclusive University where all of us, no matter how we identify, feel valued, respected, and safe. We have a range of supports available for LGBTIQA+ students.
